Activité de vélo

At the rear of the new Vehicube is the "bike studio" module, where the stationary bicycles are located. The studio features a new giant screen in front and screens on the ceiling, immersing you in a 3D world that pushes you to keep pace with the pack.

The Vehicube has 14 stationary bicycles, each one featuring a high-tech screen that turns the exercise into a virtual race. Each session lasts about 15 minutes. A facilitator is on hand to guide and motivate you. It's a lot of fun!

Atelier de nutrition

When the new Vehicube was built, special attention was paid to the colourful decorations and the sound system. Relax in one of 14 poufs colour-coded to match the four food groups while you wait for the signal to start an activity on one of the four touch screen tables.

The Vehicube has four tables with touch screens, 3-D food, an animated version of Pierre as a chef and a cyclist, and a grocery basket. The workshop content changes depending on Grade level.

Just like a restaurant
(Grades 1,2 and 3)

Head chef Pierre Lavoie has invited you to join him as a sous-chef at his super cosmic restaurant. The restaurant is so popular that he can't keep up with demand! He needs your help. Are you up to it?

Knowing about food is the key to becoming a good chef. Head down to the grocery store and pick up the ingredients to make a healthy breakfast for the restaurant's customers.

It starts in the kitchen
(Grades 4, 5 and 6)

Are you ready for the 1,000-km Grand défi? Preparation isn't just a matter of riding your bike, but also eating well. After all, the human body is like a bicycle: you have to take care of it in order for it to work well. Pierre Lavoie needs your help to ride all the way to Montréal.

At the virtual grocery store, choose healthy food that is high in fibre and low in saturated fats. To do this, compare the nutrition facts of the foods found on the list. Now you're ready to train with Pierre Lavoie. Complete Pierre's challenges and collect energy cubes for the road. And... They're off!

Take a look!
